Riga, Latvia - October 18, 2023 - Latvian Business Angel Network (LatBAN) is thrilled to announce the successful kickoff of the Angels Training Course 2023, an initiative by LatBAN aimed at introducing people to the world of angel investing and startups.
This exciting course, crafted by Cyril Golub (LatBAN Chairman and Latvian Business Angel of the Year 2022), is developed to guide participants through angel investment. The Angels Training Course 2023 is a four-part journey, designed to cover the essentials of angel investing, strategy development, startup due diligence, and post-investment activities. In addition to these enriching training sessions, participants have the opportunity to practice their startup valuation skills during startup investment sessions.
The opening event was held on October 18th and it introduced the audience to “How to get started with angel investing?” A diverse audience of 27 enthusiastic individuals joined us for an engaging session, actively participating in discussions and questions.

Module 1 - How to get started with angel investing? - October 18
Module 2 - Developing your angel investment strategy and creating a portfolio - November 01
Module 3 - Negotiating and structuring a deal - November 15
Module 4 - Your post-investment strategy - December 06
Each training session runs for 1,5 hours, followed by an exciting investment session where participants have the opportunity to hear from and meet the founders of promising startups. Afterward, everyone is invited for a fruitful networking session to share personal experiences and knowledge.
